Managing an autoimmune condition takes more than medication and dietary changes. Many triggers of autoimmunity are rooted deep inside of us – unresolved trauma, anxiety, stress or suppressed needs and emotions. It doesn’t help that we live in a world where women are taught to put the needs of others before our own or that violence against women continues to rise daily. All of these factors, both internal and external, can prompt an autoimmune response in the body.
That’s why my offering is different. I support you in finding ways to feel safe in your body and more confident in an empowered sense of self. Together, we explore what’s within your control to change so you can take daily steps towards regulating your immune system and living well.
Our bodies can teach us so much about our needs, emotions and stress triggers, which is why the mind-body connection can be the key to lasting change. Yoga helps us to connect our minds and bodies in ways that lead to profoundly positive shifts in our overall health and wellbeing. That’s why it sits at the heart of my coaching offering.
