I know what it's like to live with the fallout of stress. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2019. MS is a chronic autoimmune condition that attacks the brain and spine.
I’ve experienced many other symptoms of a dysregulated immune system, including eczema, hypothyroidism (an underactive thyroid), inflammatory arthritis, polycystic ovaries and seborrheic dermatitis. Despite all of this, I live an active and healthy life.
I qualified as a neurolinguistic programming practitioner and mindset coach in 2013 before travelling to India where I completed 200 hours of yoga teacher training.
I’ve since completed a further 200 hours of yoga teacher training with a specific focus on yoga and the neurobiology of stress, and yin and restorative yoga. My personal practice has been central to my continuing remission.
