I’ve lived with the fallout of stress for many years. I’ve also learnt how to manage and reduce stress, which is my offering to you. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2019, a chronic autoimmune condition that attacks the brain and spine. I’ve also experienced other symptoms of a dysregulated immune system, including hypothyroidism, but I still enjoy an active life. My personal yoga practice has been central to my continuing health.
I qualified as a neurolinguistic programming practitioner and personal coach in 2013 before travelling to India in 2015 where I completed 200 hours of vinyasa yoga teacher training. After my MS diagnosis, I felt called to explore a slower, more grounding yoga practice. I’ve since completed a further 300 hours of teacher training in yin yoga, yin and myofascial release, restorative yoga, yoga nidra, and the neurobiology of stress.
